David N. Kinsey

David Kinsey is a planning consultant at Kinsey & Hand in Princeton, specializing in affordable housing planning for courts, developers, public interest advocacy organizations, and towns in New Jersey. He also advises clients on urban, regional, and environmental planning. Kinsey also has taught at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University since 1998, on affordable housing, planning theory and practice, land use policy and planning, and other planning and public policy topics. Earlier in his career he served as Director of the Division of Coastal Resources in the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. A member of the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Certified Planners (FAICP), Kinsey holds a A.B. in Government-Architecture from Dartmouth College and M.P.A.U.P. and Ph.D. degrees from Princeton University. Kinsey has lived in Princeton since 1985 and served as a trustee of Princeton Community Housing.
