Carlos Rodrigues is principal of Design Solutions for a Crowded Planet, LLC and a Princeton, NJ based urban designer, planner and educator. He represents public, private, and non-profit clients on a wide range of planning, sustainability, design, research, and educational initiatives of merit. He has worked in senior management positions in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. He is a charter member of the Congress for a New Urbanism, Past President of APA-NJ, past board member of the Society for American City and Regional Planning History and of Downtown New Jersey, and former chair of the Princeton Township Zoning Board of Adjustment. His work has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Charter Award from the Congress for a New Urbanism. Carlos has a Dipl. Arch. from the Lisbon School of Fine Arts (Portugal) and a Masters of City and Regional Planning from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University.
